Workshops
James offers workshops that bring people together to learn, practice, and reconnect—to themselves, to one another, and to the communities they are part of. His workshops weave nervous system education, Nonviolent Communication, and land-based, relational ways of learning.
Radical Empathy
James facilitates ongoing practice groups where participants can return regularly to deepen the work. These are slower, steadier spaces for skill-building, reflection, and mutual support—where learning is held in community rather than in isolation.
Individual Work
James offers coaching for parents, couples, and individuals. As the writer of the Echo Parenting & Education curriculum, he supports parents in applying trauma-informed, nonviolent, attachment-based practices in their homes. He brings the same approach to couples and individuals—helping them communicate, regulate, and build relationships grounded in care and responsibility.

WORKSHOPS

Regret, Grace, Love & Learning
Nov 8th, 10am-2pm
This workshop reframes regret away from shame, blame, and punishment, and toward reflection, compassion, and growth. Through practices like “beneficial regret,” we’ll explore how regret can guide us to deeper understanding, stronger relationships, and more life‑affirming choices.
$125 per person

Self Empathy & Self Care
Nov 22nd, 10am-2pm
A healing space for individuals to learn their nervous system and a practical approach to self care. Beyond a bubble bath post on instagram there is a place we will visit that feels a bit more like embodied self-awareness and self-compassion. Ideal for those needing restoration and re-alignment.
$125 per person

Sliding Scales for Workshops
For those who would like to come to a workshop but can't due to cost, below is a sliding scale that can be used. Also for those with more access to money due to income or family wealth the sliding scale is advised. It is a simple way, as a community, we take care of each other.
RADICAL EMPATHY
Silverlake
Tuesday Nights 7-9pm
Highland Park
Sunday Afternoons 2-4pm
Radical Empathy groups are weekly practice groups where skill and community grow together over time.
Each week we strengthen core capacities of NVC: naming feelings, identifying needs, listening with the heart, and offering empathy that is grounded, present, and non-judgmental. This is a space for people who want consistent practice, steady support, and a community built through showing up together. We build nervous system literacy, develop emotional fluency, and learn to give and receive empathy through a needs-based, trauma-informed lens.
Open to all.
INDIVIDUAL WORK
James offers one-on-one support for individuals, parents, and couples who want to grow in their capacity for connection, regulation, and responsibility. His work helps individuals apply trauma-informed, nonviolent, and attachment-based practices in their daily lives and relationships.
Couples
James works with couples who want to stay connected while navigating conflict, stress, or long-term patterns that are no longer working. His approach draws from trauma-informed practice, Nonviolent Communication, and attachment-based work as practical tools couples can use in real time.
Parents
James offers parent coaching grounded in the Echo Parenting & Education curriculum, which he helped write and develop. He supports parents in bringing trauma-informed, nonviolent, and attachment-based practices into daily family life in real and practical ways.
Individuals
James works with individuals who want support in regulating their nervous system, understanding their patterns, and building relationships that feel grounded and honest. The work isn’t about fixing people — it’s about helping them slow down, notice what’s happening in their body, and respond with more choice and less reactivity.
Ritual - Rights of Passage
At its heart, this work is about belonging—teaching boys and men how to stand in their lives in a way that is accountable to their families, communities, and to something larger than themselves.
